Honda’s C90 Challenge is nearly here. From the 26th to 29th of May, this group of friends will be challenging themselves to ride Honda C90’s from Lands End to John O’Groats over 3 days.

Most of the team have brought non-runners and have spent hours in their garages rebuilding the bikes and injecting a new lease of life into the old pressed steel frame machines.

The mopeds have a top speed of 45 mph, and the team need an average of 30 mph and to cover 340 miles a day on minor roads to reach their end goal in the 3 days.

The team are raising money for Birstal Bags, and the national charity, Marie Curie who provide care and support for suffers and their families.

Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer and as a result most of us will be affected by the disease. As the science improves, new discoveries are made in a bid to eradicate the disease, so perhaps in the future our loved ones no longer need suffer the physical and emotional effects cancer inflicts on us.  Having all being touched, in one way or another, by cancer, raising money for these two incredible charities has become their goal.
